About Our School

There are many reasons why people decide to train in the martial arts. Some train for self-defense purposes, while others like the increased flexibility, cardiovascular workout and other health benefits they receive from participating. TSMAA offers a unique and comprehensive martial arts program. With an eclectic approach and a multi-cultured curriculum, we offer a program that can be custom-tailored to meet your specific goals and objectives.

Hi, my name is Jeff Jones, owner of Tri State Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Fairless Hills, PA. I want to take a moment to welcome you to our website and to say THANK YOU for considering our Martial Arts school. I’ve seen so many different kinds of people come through our doors – from the very overweight to the ultra-shy.

We’ve had people start class because they want to be prepared if they need to defend themselves, and even people who start class because they’ve already been victims of a violent attack. The thing that ties all of these people together is that I’ve seen Martial Arts classes help every single one of them find their inner strength, peace, and confidence.

  • I started training at Tri State in November 2017 so its almost going on 3 years this November. I have changed in a way that I am more confident and self assured of myself. I am more motivated than I was before I started. I have gotten a lot faster and stronger since starting my martial arts journey. Also I have dropped a lot of weight and making better choices for myself. Finally most importantly I have gained and developed self discipline since starting and I am more focused than before. I have a clear path and direction I want to be on. That is how I have changed since coming to Tri State.

  • Our decision to sign Ryan up for training at Tri State Kickboxing and Mixed Martial Arts was twofold:
First, because Ryan suffers with a disorder; ADHD, and unfortunately in today's society there are still people who label or discriminate against people suffering from this disorder.
As a result.....you guessed it. Ryan was being bullied by kids, because he was different, he didn't fit into the "norm".
So we embarked on a new journey, and started having Ryan train in Martial Arts, not only to improve his self-confidence, but also give him a purpose.
Since his training, Ryan has become more confident, he has learned more self-control and focus. And he has realized that if he puts in the time and effort into anything he works at and gives it his best ....hard work pays off!!
Winners never quit and Quitters never win.💪

  • My martial arts journey started when I was 19 years old in the fall of 2009, 6 years before I joined Tri State Mixed Martial Arts.
In the years leading up to me finding martial arts, I struggeld with dyslexia and my mental health. In school, I was bullied profusely and would often miss weeks of school at a time. In my Jr. Year in high school, life took a sharp turn. At that moment I realized I did not like the person I was. I made a choice to do... to be better.
    Martial Arts saved my life.
In February 2016, I joined Tri State. The moment I walked through those doors I knew this school was something special! I was in awe at the professionalism of the staff, the culture, and the school as a whole. I joined that day!
After some time training at Tri State, Sifu Jeff offered me a position as an assistant instructor. It has been such an honor teaching. Teaching was very new to me and I was a bit nervous at first. Sifu Jeff gave me a gift to help kids, the kind of help I wish I had when I was their age. My hope is to be a positive influence to others the way Sifu Jeff has been to me.
    Tri State is home!
