A Big G13 Weekend to Remember!
This past weekend was nothing short of incredible for our G13 family. From an unforgettable seminar to a powerful team day packed with accomplishments and promotions, the energy and unity of our team were on full display.
We kicked things off on Friday evening with a special seminar led by Master Roberto Godoi. Having Master Godoi visit us is always an honor, and this session was no exception. Our students were able to learn directly from one of the best in the world—refining technique, gaining new perspectives, and experiencing the true spirit of G13 Jiu-Jitsu. The room was filled with focus, respect, and the kind of motivation that comes from being taught by a legend.
On Saturday, the excitement continued as our team traveled to Beacon Martial Arts in Cherry Hill, NJ—our G13 affiliate school—for Team Day. This annual gathering is all about community, growth, and celebrating progress, and this year did not disappoint. Our adult BJJ students represented our academy with pride, effort, and heart.
One of the major highlights of the day was watching our students receive their well-earned stripe and belt promotions.These moments are more than just milestones—they’re a reflection of countless hours on the mats, dedication to improvement, and the perseverance to push forward even on the tough days.
A Very Special Congratulations
We are incredibly proud to share that Coach Kasaun Tramel and Coach Chris Jepson were both awarded their Black Belts this weekend. This achievement represents years of hard work, discipline, leadership, and commitment to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Their promotions are not only well-deserved, but also an inspiration to our entire team. We could not be more honored to have them as leaders on our mats.
We are incredibly proud of everyone who trained, participated, supported, and represented our academy throughout the weekend. The camaraderie, the learning, the progress—this is what makes G13 so special.
